Heroes Vs Villains always seem to remind me of the movie "Unbreakable". I only saw it for the first time about a year ago, and without any real knowledge of what the movie was about, found it to have a nice little twist.

As for A-Fraud - he can't perform in the post-season anyways. Griffey is the man, especially when you read about why he left Seattle on the first go-round.

I see a lot of discussion of good vs evil, like the good guys are, well, good, and bad guys are evil, but it's a fine line.
In reality, everyone looks out for #1, but the difference is whether they take what they can get, or create a better world around themselves.

Interesting analysis! I hadn't thought of heroes and villains in terms of givers and takers before. I'm going to keep that in mind when writing my next story, and see if how well it fits my heroes and villains.

Heroes VS Villains is a good post, another semi-sporting event that you could link this to is the world of professional wrestling. In this world you have two figures the face (hero) and the heel (villain). The roles portrayed are determined by two factors: the writers of the feuds and what not, and the reactions of the fans to these character. Sometimes you can have a character that is portraying a villain, but the reactions of the fans make this character a hero. The world is really odd from time to time.
